Next few drops yielded a codfish or two,a nice keeper blackfish and some short pollock,sea raven.,few other short codfish but we never got em going good. New Bob had two nice pollock and our pool fish was a nice Codfish about10 lbs.

Cods a Comin' Sunday, March 11, 2018 With all the bad weather, we have managed to get out a few days to find slow action with Cod and Ling. Today was a beautiful and better day with action, managing to catch 14 Cod and 7 Ling, plus 20 tosser Cod.
The west winds should have calmed the ocean and cleared inshore waters, but there still haven't been any fishing reports. The Ocean Explorer from Belmar was going to try sailing this morning, but there's been no report so far.
My striped bass seminar this year will be on Friday at 2 p. m., and once again Gary Quon with be on hand to provide every angler attending the seminar with one of his valuable Tady metal jigs. Gusty west winds this week should settle and clear ocean waters, but Many notes that all the snow where he lives in Annandale will be adding to further cooling of river and bay water temperatures.
