Tuesday Fishing Report July 9, 2019 And another very nice day,and fishing while not good was much better than yesterday We fished deeper and had better keeper ratio, less shorts and some ling and sea bass Tomorrow should be even better!!!looking nice!
There wasn t anything like that on the Sea Hunter out of Atlantic Highlands today, but Capt. Rob Semkewyc left short action to seek out keepers and was pleased to find a 7. There wasn t much action on surface lures in Shark River this morning, but I cast the Band of Anglers Dart Spin to release five blues of 3 and 4 pounds plus two stripers to 23 inches.
The action has been good so if you want to have some fun fishing for fluke and maybe catch a keeper come make a trip. We are half day fishing for fluke everyday making two trips (8am to 12 30 and 1 30 to 6pm).
The Miss Belmar Princess is sailing daily for blues, stripers and sea bass from 7 30 a. m. 2 30 p. m. and every afternoon for fluke sea bass from 4 30 p. m. 8 30 p. m. The Royal Miss Belmar is sailing daily for fluke and sea bass from 7 30 a. m. 12 00 p. m.
