UPDATE 7 30 1 2 DAY PORGY SEA BASS MON TUES 1 2 DAY FLUKE WED-SUN Had a great group of folks from the American Legion on our Sunday morning charter, but as hard as I tried, we could not put a keeper in the boat. Both trips had very good fishing with plenty of porgies, a few sea bass and even a couple of triggerfish with all anglers taking home a bag of fillets.
Started out inshore where the life was And decided to head to canyon for mixed bag of species, bad Move!Decided to try inshore spot to save the trip, found a school of yellowfin on top and it was game on, had fish blowing up the spread!
Left the area to fish a New spot, bite started slow but got better with each drift so we went into overtime. John your dead to me McGuire had his 3 and a Nice Sea Bass, Capt. Ron Senior landed his 3 and then some while several guys had two nice fish along with some beautiful Sea bass by trips end.
