Only 12 guys on the boat today, but we had all our bonus fish and all our over 28 inches in no time. I am cancelling Wednesdays trip NW wind gusts to 30 that usually ends up being gusts to 35 and its gonna be cold.
We will not be sailing tomorrow due to weather so today was our last day of Striped Bass fishing!Blackfishing starts on Monday!GREEN CRABS ARE INCLUDED AND WHITE CRABS FOR PURCHASE!ALL DAY MONDAY BLACKFISHING!!!
The fish were mostly under 28 inches today and we did have a few bigger that we had to throw back. We will not be fishing tomorrow, It looks like strong winds from the southeast with gusts to 45.
Some slots and a few larger bass saved the day. Capt. Ron Santee Jr. was happy he left early with the Fishermen as the first drift provided almost all the action for the day though they picked away at a few bass and blues, Those boats won t be sailing tomorrow.
Super action with mixed sizes fish today, along with a bunch of blues . We could not do the boat limit in fish 28 inches or bigger, we fell a couple short today.
Posted on November 13, 2020 No lack of stripers There were no reports yesterday except from Chuck Many who got out before the rain and released large stripers from his Ty Man out of Highlands It was a different story today as the Sea Hunter from Atlantic Highlands got out to fill a boat limit of slot stripers quickly while falling just a couple short of 28-inch plus bass along with a bunch of blues. Blackfish season opens Nov, 16 with five tog at a 15-inch minimum.
They got on some active fish early and capitalized while they could and had an action packed hour or two with fish all over on the surface. All fish were caught on casting lutes with the hottest lure being the Salt Pursuit metal lip.
