The sea bass fishing was great with some nice size fluke mixed in. With Miss Belmar s 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day, and we guarantee it.
Wednesday Fishing Report August 29, 2018 Flat calm and warm out there today,a nice breeze though kept it nice We picked away all day at the fluke,and some nice sea bass again. Some of the guys did manage a limit of nice fluke,and some quality fish in the 3-5lb Mostly the guys casting the jigs today caught most of the fish Keepers anyway Tomorrow looks good.
Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing August 28 28 August 2018 Capt. Tom Made both morning and afternoon trips again today. We are half day fishing for fluke everyday making two trips (8am to 12 30 and 1 30 to 6pm).
All day action today on the fluke with several fish between 4 and 7. Joe Sullivan was back again today and once again had the hot hand with over 25 fish, two made 5 pounds and his largest was just over 6 pounds.
