100' Paramount Report 5/5/14Capt. Francis BoganPARAMOUNT Ling • Cod • Ling Saturday fishing was very slow with only a handful of Ling caught. Sunday's fishing was better with David deJong having the distinction of being high hook with 7 Ling (I know, but considering how poor fishing has been 7 fish was a nice change of pace!!)and other angler's having from 5 to a couple Ling each. It was nice to see some nice fat Ling up to 3 pounds instead of just little hot dogs and also the fish were caught in shallower water. All things considered it was great to see the trend improving all around. Looks like Spring and Springtime fishing is finally starting up! We will continue to sail every day the weather permits for Ling and Cod until Sea Bass season opens on May 19th! The Paramount will be sailing Friday from 6:30am till 5:00pm on our marathon trip. Saturday and Sunday we are scheduled to sail from 6:30am till 3:30pm.
