All in all not a bad day. the conditions were a little tuff but we managed some nice keepers and some shorts. I love the new hours . I'm not sure what tomorrows weather is really gonna be, they are calling for some wind but we will be there in the morning .Here are a few pics from today. See you soon Capt. Rob
Fishing has been slow, I don't lie or sugarcoat a report, we have had plenty of action with short fish and sea robins, which the larger size ones are very good eating, but today was a nice showing of keeper fluke!
Had to bounce around looking for life and eventually found some nice keepers to wanted to eat. End the trip with 13 keepers to 7.5 pounds. We have some availability for charter or open boat fluke trips this coming Thursday, Friday and Sunday, August 1, 2, and 4.
Made both morning and afternoon trips again today. On the afternoon trip the wind picked up enough to give us good drifting conditions in Sandy Hook Bay. We picked on every drift with good action with the shorts and some keepers.
