Lots of Bonito, blues and a nice mahi

by Capt Ted White 7 September 2014
This past weekend we started off with a good fluke trip with the John Tsafos party, they had great action with the fluke and a good number of keepers up to 3 lb.. The fluke are grouping up as they normally do this time of year and if Mother... Nature doesn't mess things up, the fishing should be some of the best we have seen in a couple years.
Saturday night Scott Card had a group down for some blues and bonito. We started off trolling in the afternoon and did very well on the bonito and some blues. Just before dark we anchored up and had great action on the 1-3lb blues and 3-5lb bonito on small jigs. The cold front started to come through but held off long enough to get the trip in. I took few pics of the clouds as they went by, really cool.
Today John from Brandywine Valley Concrete brought his crew down and we again trolled up a great catch of the blues and bonito. The ocean was a bit bumpy to start but laid down. Ricardo got the pool with a real nice mahi,
