The rain kept most of the people away but a few showed up so we made both morning and afternoon trips again today. We only had a couple of passing showers on the morning trip.. On the morning trip we only picked a few shorts and a keeper. Not good but better then yesterday morning. On the afternoon trip the fishing was better. We picked at a mix of shorts and keepers on two spots. We are fishing in Raritan Bay. We did not see any jig fish today, All fish were caught on clams. Take a look at the gallery and see some of the stripe bass from today. We are half day fishing for stripe bass everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm).
