Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing September 14

Made both morning and afternoon trips today. The ocean was not nice after yesterdays easterly weather. We fished on Flynns Knoll and Sandy Hook bay. We picked a few shorts on each drift and had one keeper. See picture in gallery. On the afternoon again the ocean was still rough. We did not fish in the bay but stayed in the Flynns Knoll area where it was not rough. Again we picked some shorts on each drift but no keepers. Hopefully the ocean will settle down and the fishing will improve. We will have to see. For now we are half day fishing for fluke everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
