Atlantic Highlands blackfishing December 31

Made our 7:30 am blackfishing trip from the Atlantic Highlands marina again today. The day started out very windy and cold. The wind diminished a bit but it was still cold. The action was pretty goodÂ with mostly shorts. We made a few drops but the fishing was the same. Everyone caught fish but not everyone caught keepers. We had planed on fishing tomorrow but as of now the forecast is for very windy (20 to 25 with gusts to 30) and cold. If the forecast is correct then waiting till Friday will be a good idea. You can check the NOAA emblem on the home page for the weather. Have a SAFE and HAPPY NEW YEAR. Hope to see you Friday. Sailing at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3pm.Â Looking forward to seeing everyone.
