We have been making both morning and afternoon trips from the Atlantic Highlands marina the past few days. Yesterday the weather was ok in the morning but the fishing was not good. In the afternoon the weather got worse and so did the fishing. On both trips we picked a few shorts and keepers but not enough. This morning the weather and the conditions were better but only picked a few fish. On the afternoon trips the fishing got a little better with a few fish each drift. As usual the shorts outnumbered the keepers but there were a few nice fish caught. We have been fishing in Sandy Hook bay the past few days.
