We made our first trip of the spring season today and we had real decent MACKEREL fishing with some Herring mixed in. Some drifts were very good another other drifts we just picked a few fish but overall the fishing was real decent. I would say the mix between MACKEREL & Herring was 90% MACKEREL and 10% Herring. Some customers had up to 75 - 80 MACKEREL and everybody had some. It was a very nice day in the ocean with decent fishing to start the season.
