Mike who was on his first charter trip for Bass worked the line perfectly for over 10 minutes and was rewarded with a once in a lifeime Bass which tipped the scales at 51 pounds. We finished the day with 2 Bass and a happy crew.
Obviously 4 days of south wind and rough seas had pushed the Bass out of the area. Spots also are available for the May 27, 28 29 Open Boat Striper trips.
On the next Bass the hook pulled at the boat and that was followed shortly by another Bass that the hook pulled on half way in.Call 732 323 8700 to reserve your spot.
Paul moved up the line and got the word that the wind against the tide conditions were making it tough for the boats on anchor so he decided to put out the Plugs and stay on the Troll. It turned out to be a very slow day as we only added 2 more Bass to the catch.
Trolling Plugs the crew picked away slowly at some nice size Bass and put together a nice catch of 8 keepers It's always a nice day when fishing with this crew.E Mail or call 732 323 8700 to reserve your day.
We finally got our first Bass of the season when Joe landed a nice 36 fish. We finished the day with 4 Keeper Bass, released several shorts and spent the day with a great crew.
We called it a day at 11AM and headed for home but in spite of the slow bite Emily and Don landed over 25 Bass all of which were released unharmed. Always a good time when Don Emily are on board.
