The guy's had no trouble filling the bait well and then we made our way up to the spots where the Bass have been active over the past several days. In a 20 minute period we had 6 Bass play bump and run with our baits along with a few run offs without any hook set.
We wanted to make our catch before the wind came on so Paul stayed on the local pieces and Don and his crew put together a nice catch of large Seabass. As usual it was fun fishing with Don and his crew.
Mike and his crew were new to Livelining for Bass and we had a bit of a learning curve to go thru. A bait donation from Capt Derek (Fisher Price) kept us in the game and the guy's put 2 more Bass in the boat another at 32 Lbs.
Kurt and his crew are long time Bounty Hunter supporters and Paul was glad he could put together a killer Seabass trip for him. Paul then made drops on pieces that we seldom fish and it was a nice slow pick to get the last 60 Seabass in the box.
The trip was originally scheduled for Striped Bass but with the Seabass bite turning on the guy's decided to go for Seabass and it was a good move. Brian and his crew wasted no time putting a 100 fish limit catch of big Seabass in the box along with a few Ling.
06 05 2013 Capt. Paul ran an Open Boat Seabass trip today. Paul made stops on 6 small snags offshore and we found that a couple had some life while others had no life but the couple that read good life were loaded with large Seabass.
06 04 2013 Capt. Paul had the John Bromely charter on board today. Paul anchored on some rough bottom and the guy's managed to go 3 for 6 on Bass using livies.
06 01 2013 The Bob Kreselly charter was on board today and it was a tough day of Striper fishing. Moving back to the south we got into a late day Bluefish bite and the charter landed 3 out of 8.
