Katie and her crew have fished with us in the past but no one ever Livelined for Bass. The big Blues were mixed in with the Bass and the rods were bent over pretty good.
Dan put his second Bass in the box while the rest of the crew fought big Blues and missed several Bass bites. We finished with 2 Bass but if we hooked all the Bass that bit we would have had great trip.
05 28 2013 It was a tough day with the Alan Amisson charter. Alan's guy's toughed it out on the rail all day but it was not to be the day that the Bass cooperated.
Harry and his crew were in search of their first Striped Bass ever. Finally we put out the Trolling gear and we managed to box a nice 25 lb, Bass which was our only fish for the day.
Paul took advantage of the 5 hour weather window we had before the snappy NW wind arrived and put the Bounty Hunter on 3 Snags several miles offshore. Keith and his crew picked away at each drop and when the wind finally arrived and it got a bit sporty we called it a day.
Keith and his crew were in search of their first Striped Bass ever. We stayed on the bait reads all day and the guy's went 8 for 15 on Bass up to 25 Lbs.
Up on the Troll we picked thru the Blues and once again pulled the hook on a couple of Bass before Eric finally put a nice 38 Bass in the box. Call me at 732-323-8700 to reserve your spot.
05 16 2013 We had the Bob McColgan charter on board today and Capt. Paul ran north to give Livelining a try. Spots are still available for the Open Boat Seabass trips on June 3, 4 5.
