Once we got the lines in, it didnt take long to have a few shorts come into the boat. Found some bigger fish and had our under limit of 6 boxed up by 830. Played catch and release the rest of the day with fish being caught on artificial and bait. Landed around 20 bass for the morning up to 14#.
Saturdays morning trip was pretty slow, just a couple keeper Tog came up. So the next trip will be Wednesday 4 18 7am.
Capt. Tom Made both morning (8am to 12 30 ) and afternoon ( 1 30 to 6pm) trips today for striped bass. We had a few bites but only caught a short and one keeper stripe bass.
Fished the shallow water making several drops today. Picked away on the shorts and landed Three keeper striped bass by days end. Pool fish was 31 inches. Water temp hit 49 and there was plenty of bait around.
