Aboard with us today were Greg, Shawn, Traci, Chuck, Greg, and Frank. Â Fluke reports while I was away were very slow. Â We
went out anticipating slow fishing, and it was slow. Â We had a couple nice fish and a handful of shorts before we changed gears
and tried for triggerfish. Â The water is in the high 60s which isn't ideal for triggers but there were a few around as we boxed 15 of
them and a couple sea bass, too. Â Nice day guys!

We had an open boat group aboard today with Shawn, Traci, Chuck, Greg, Jeff, and TJ. Â We made our first attempt for fluke,
and with overall slow reports coming in, didn't know what to expect. Â We were very pleasantly surprised when we boxed 27 fluke
to 7.2lbs and had a lot of shorts as well! Â We are going away for the next few days, so check back in a week or so for updates! Â
Thank you!

Another 100 plus fish in the box type of day! Â Burke, Jack, Britt, Cody, Trinidad, and Chuck were aboard, and fishing was great! Â
We had to move around a lot, but we had a decent keeper ratio with some beauties in the mix. Â 101 fish made the trip home
today...55 sea bass, 45 ling, and a nice cod. Â Thanks very much guys!
June 14, 2015
Jeff, Shawn, Traci, Al, Bob, and Chubby were aboard today for their sea bass open boat. Â Once again, exceptional quality fish in
the mix! Â We had a lot of beautiful fish with Jeff getting the biggest at 5 pounds - a stud to say the least! Â Over 100 fish today,
with 60 beautiful sea bass, around 40 ling, 7 cod, and a few huge bergalls rounding out the box. Â What a day!
June 13, 2015
Bill, Bill, Jack, Chuck, Chris, and Ed were aboard today, and fishing was great! Â We had the nicest sized sea bass of the year,
with many 2 to 4 pounders in the mix. Â We had a 95 fish box today, with 70 sea bass and 25 ling going home along with many
ling released. Â Great fishing!
June 12, 2015
Shawn, Traci, Ed, Bob, George, and Don were aboard today for a sea bass open boat. Â Fishing was good once again with
another quality keeper ratio coming over the rail. Â The grade of fish was nice, and we boxed 77 sea bass and a dozen ling for a
nearly 90 fish box. Â Thanks everyone!
June 11, 2015
With the forecast of stiff winds coming up in the late morning, we decided to try a slightly different area today. Â We had to really
work for them today and move around a lot, but did put a nearly 50 fish box together with 37 sea bass, some ling, and a cod
making up the catch. Â Way to work for them, guys!
June 10, 2015
Joe Wilson and company were aboard for their private sea bass trip today. Â Great fishing once again! Â We had some very nice
quality fish today, and the ratio was quite good. Â 78 keepers made the box today, along with some ling. Â Thanks guys!
June 7, 2015
TJ, Shawn, Traci, Greg, Jeff, and Tom were aboard today for a sea bass open boat. Â Fishing was excellent today with a limit of
sea bass going in the box. Â Many shorts were in the mix so we had to sift through quite a bit of them, but it paid off with a limit of
keepers!
May 30, 2015
Bob, Clyde, Lisa, Nick, Chuck, and Tom were aboard today for a sea bass open boat. Â Making our way through some early
morning fog on a calm ocean, we arrived on the grounds and immediately started working our way through a series of spots. Â
Each location had a handful of nice fish available, and the gang did a great job of working hard to put them in the box! Â The
quality of our keepers was quite nice, with only a handful requiring measurement and most of them "no doubt about it" keepers. Â
We ended today's trip with a nice box of 75 sea bass, a few large bergall, and some ling. Â We also had some cod today, but
they were a little too short to take home! Â Great day, guys!
May 29, 2015
We had Adam Rizzo aboard with his group for their sea bass charter today. Â It was a beautiful day on the water with light winds,
calm seas, and blue skies. Â Fishing was slow but steady at each spot we fished, but our first stop of the day was best with drop
and reel fishing and some nice keepers coming aboard. Â We had some cod mixed in throughout today's trip, too. Â At the end of
the day, 59 keeper sea bass made the box, along with a half dozen keeper cod, a half dozen ling, and few large bergall. Â
Thanks guys!
This afternoon, Travis Stolz jumped on for his drum charter with Steve, Joe, and Jim. Â Fighting our way through countless
smooth dogfish, we did manage to get a few drum bites. Â Travis hooked one up, but unfortunately the hook pulled. Â Steve, "The
Drum Slayer", put the hook in three drum fish, putting two in the boat(our two for the trip) and breaking the leader on a
third...presumably frayed from all the smooth dogs twisting up in it. Â Beautiful afternoon on the bay, and a couple big drum to
boot...thanks guys!

The drum bite has slowed down since the Memorial Day holiday weekend boat traffic. Â The wind hasn't been all too favorable
either. Â We had a local crew today with Shawn, Traci, Rich, and Joe jumping aboard to go see what the bay looked like. Â What
we found wasn't too pretty, with a screaming south wind that made for rough conditions with white capping waves everywhere we
looked. Â We set up shop in a couple spots to give it a college try, but the drum didn't want to cooperate. Â We will see what
happens next time we're on the bay. Â Sea bass opens tomorrow, so as soon as the weather permits we will be on the ocean
chasing them down. Â
Hope to have you aboard!
