Hello all! We've had a few togging trips where we could get out over the last few days. On January 2, Ron, Tom, Ron, Paul, and Rich were aboard. We had a steady bite throughout the trip on several pieces that we fished with the Barn's own Spooled(Tom) high hook with at least 8 keepers on his new Jigging World Black Demon rod. Ron Rondeau was a close second and the other guys contributed, as well. We ended up with a limit of tog to 7 pounds and made our way for Harbor View through some hard northwest wind and pretty sloppy seas. On January 3rd, Greg, Shawn, Traci, Pat, Bob, and TJ were aboard. We cleared the inlet and the wind hadn't quite built to the 15 knots plus that they were calling for. So, we started fishing a different area to see how they were chewing. While we did get some nice fish, the bite wasn't quite what we had hoped so we made a wiggle to where we had been doing well the last couple trips. We got a few more fish here but overall it was a slow day but the keepers we did get for the guys were of nice quality 4 to 8 pounders. Today, January 6, we fished with Ron, Lenny and his friend, Brian, Mark, and Skip M. We fished a few drops today and while a couple were slow, we had a really good bite on a third and the guys boxed their limit of fish to 7 pounds with the Barn's own Ancient Mariner Skip M. high hook with 7 or 8 keepers and the rest of the guys getting in on the action, as well. The snow made for an interesting weather trip as it was laying quite a bit as Mother Nature provided all the ice we need. Thanks to everyone who sailed with us over the last few days. Hope to see you aboard the Bomb soon!
