The strong south winds from yesterday slowed the Seabass bite down. The boys went to work and filled the cooler with 37 more quality Seabass finishing with a 6 man limit catch of 90 Seabass.
Paul found a good strech of bait and Bass reads between Asbury and Long Branch, so we worked the area all day. Bass around the boat for most of the day crashing our baits but no hook up's.
05 31 2014 Keith Frederick and his crew returned to the Bounty Hunter for their annual Seabass charter. As the wind subsided the Seabass turned on and we had good picks on several spots and only small fish on others.
We got an early start and sailed into a foggy ocean with a steady rain. Joe and his crew toughed it out picking away and put together a nice catch of 80 quality Seabass, released several Ling and only had to put up with 6 Dogfish.
She has not lost her touch as she put a high hook catch of Seabass in the boat today. The Seabass are moving in to the Inshore Wrecks Hangs so now is the time to go while you can still keep 15 fish per Person.
