We had a two and a half hour drift in the morning where we were able to pick away at the stripers that were 29 - 34 and the blues ranged from 4-12 lbs. The last half of the day was slow with blues and an occasional striper.

Picked away on the stripers on each drift and had shots of 7-8 fish on at a time. Fish ranged from 28-36 and we had about 60 keeper stripers and some jumbo blues mixed in.
November 6th, 2011 We had the BEST striper fishing of the season so far yesterday with over 200 keepers, no, that is NOT a misprint, and over 50 throw back keepers. For the last 5 days we have had the hottest striper fishing we have seen in a long time and this is just the beginning of the season!
The blues and stripers did not bite right for the amount of fish we saw. Our pool winner today was Bob Megill from North Haledon, NJ with a 14 lb 8 oz blue.
We decided to make a move and drove a little here and a little there and we saw some bird action a couple miles East of our inlet. We had 4 successful drifts and when it was all said and done we had 31 keeper stripers and about 120 blues.
October 31st, 2011 Today, Captain Lenny Forsyth reported it was a super day of fishing aboard Miss Belmar Princess!The bluefishing was super with 6-12 on most of the day and they ranged anywhere from 6-15 lbs.
