6/25/17: Summer has officially started! We are strictly fluking now, and I'm sorry to say that we are throwing back some beautiful sea bass right now. But come July 1, we are able to keep 2 per man, we won't be afraid to swing on some structure and make a meal for all. The fluking started out really slow due to the frigid water temps, but today we see some light. I'm happy to report a few nice-size keepers caught, and the afternoon trip was a ton of action with short fish, which means it's happening! Our Facebook page has the pics, but we are all very hopeful for this coming week. Even with the water being so cold on the bottom, we are seeing a lot of sea life. Sea robins, squid, sharks and skates are all part of the cycle.

The fluke are there, we proved that already, now we just have to get the right conditions to cover some area and find that flat fish! See you at sea!
