The morning started off pretty good with a bit of action, but then things slowed down. Not a good day, but better than Friday, so lets keep our fingers crossed that Monday is even better.
A slow start to the day, made a move and the action began. Ended the day with 2 keepers, the biggest weighed in at 13. 5 lbs, but the guy was not in the pool, which was taken by Pat Rascona.
We are sailing this weekend, hoping for some bigger fish, but if it is not to be, than we will take some time off. Jeremy and I will be at the dock for what may very well be our last weekend of striper fishing until the Spring.
We sailed with just a handful of anglers and had too many shorts to keep track, but several of them were near misses, so MAYBE we will find the bigger fish tomorrow. The non stop action is amazing and more than a blast, so if you fish for fun, give us a try.
November 21, 2013 Update NOT SAILING THANKSGIVING DAY Another day of good bass catching with plenty of action on shorts and a few less blues. Jeremy and I will be at the dock in the morning ready for a new day, so come and join us.
November 15, 2013 Not a massacre on the fish, but a good day. I think we did better than most of the party boats in our harbor and ended the day with a good catch of stripers.
The fishing can't get any better than it has been in the last few days. This great weather should hold up for a couple of days, so grab your gear and lets go fishing.
I know the bass are here, plenty of bird life, good readings, and fish breaking, but I guess they were not hungry or it could be all the boat traffic knocking them down The combination of the mild weather and a Saturday brings a ton of boaters out, many of whom have no boating etiquette, thus crappy catching. We covered a bit of the ocean, had some blues, plenty of shorts and only 1keeper bass.
