UPDATE 7 10 CHARTERED SUN 7 15 AM TRIP OPEN 1 30 PM TRIP Sun left the dock with another nice group of anglers on a beautiful day. The afternoon trip was a pick throughout, not lights out fishing, but caught a couple keepers each drift.
11 28-UPDATE The last several trips have been slim pickings, with less than comfortable sea conditions and very few keepers and slots, with some action on the shorts. Every trip is a new adventure, lets hope today, Wednesday, is a good one.
WE ARE NOT SAILING TODAY Monday's charter had a disappointing trip with only a couple of stripers landed and very little action. One lady angler release 31 stripers and was exhausted by the end of the trip.
FRIDAY 11 17 UPDATE Steady pick most of the day, lot of action on the shorts with many anglers catching countless throwbacks along with some nice keepers and slot fish Check out the latest pictures of Jason, Courtney, Al, Marty, Bob, Sean Paul and Marissa. who caught 9 shorts before getting a keeper using shads.
SATURDAY 10 28 UPDATE NOT SAILING SUNDAY 10 29 DUE TO WEATHER CHECK BACK TOMORROW NIGHT FOR MONDAY Good group of folks on today's charter and they enjoyed a beautiful day on the water. Plenty of big porgies and giant sea bass for the group making for a good trip.
10 18 UPDATE STRIPED BASS STARTS SAT 10 21 SAILING 7 30AM-2 30PM We don't get out everyday, more often than not, due to lack of angler participation. With such good catches of porgies, freezers are full and anglers are asking for a change, so as of SATURDAY 10 21, WE WILL BE STRIPED BASS FISHING 7 30AM-2 30PM.
MONDAY 10 9 UPDATE OCTOBER SPECIAL BOTTOM FISH SAILING ONCE A DAY 7 30 AM-1 PM 50. Young Dylan was the star of the day with a bucket of giant porgies, a monster sea bass (that was returned after a quick photo as season is closed) and a couple of big albacore.
