The afternoon was much better, a good amount of angler participation and much better fishing, with a ton of shorts providing a lot of action and some nice big fluke being landed. Sean took the afternoon pool.
Got a few nice keepers, had a bit of short action, but all in all a slow day. Took a chance and took a bit of a ride this afternoon, but no good, so ended day back in the bay.
Pool fish this morning trip was 6 pounds, but the highlight was young Connor, fishing with Dad and Grampa, got his first ever fluke, and it was a beauty. The crew and I will be at the dock tomorrow ready for a new adventure, so climb aboard and fish with the Most Experienced Captain, Best Crew, always Family-Friendly, with the most Individual Fishing Space of any other boat.
Today's catching was a bit better than yesterday with the morning trip producing more keepers. The boat where the experienced and the beginner all feel welcome.
