1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

08/14/16 Another good day on the fluke grounds! Started where we have been fishing and had loads of action and a bunch of keepers on a long drift before the current got way too strong and we had to leave the area. Spent the rest of the day in a couple of nearby areas with less current and managed to continue to pick away at both keepers and shorts until it was time to come home but our best fishing was definitely this morning. Dave Brink, Middletown, NJ, ended up with four keepers and tied for the pool with Mely Lomauro, Warwick, NY. Light wind tomorrow should be perfect for where we have been fishing. I will say once again that the guys that have been bringing along rods that can handle up to 10 ounces of lead--if needed--have been doing best and catching the most keepers lately!
