Started off not being able to stay on the pieces with garbage anchoring conditions but still managed some keepers. Once the conditions improved and we were able to stay in one place the fish put their biting shoes on and quite a few of our regular toggers wound up with limits of quality togs for the day.
12 08 15 Good fishing this morning and plenty of action with a mix of shorts and nice keepers to keep the guys busy. The good bite lasted until mid day when we lost the current and we finished the day with a pick of keepers in a different area.
Had a scratchy bite in a couple of different areas with a mix of shorts and keepers but not enough action to keep us happy after the good togging that we have been having lately. Palisades Kenny led the way with five keepers which also included the pool fish.
We were able to sit on the spots later in the day once the current finally started to run. Fished three drops on the day with the guys in the front of the boat having the best of the fishing on each drop.
12 04 15 It was a great day to get back out on the water after a few days of nasty weather. Catches ranged up to limits with the bow doing the best today.
12 03 15 Strong winds have kept the area boats at the dock for the past several days. The wind will diminish tonight and we will be ready to sail tomorrow (Friday)!!
GOOD fishing with plenty of action all day and a bunch of limits to go around with others just missing their own. Dennis O'Brien, South Bound Brook, NJ, had an early limit and also took the pool with a 6 pound fish.
The guys worked hard all day and managed to pick some togs off of each drop we made but just not enough to make us happy. Green and white crabs both caught fish today.
