05 24 15 We had a nice drift today and found plenty of bites in a couple of different areas from the past couple of days. Tomorrow is the last day that we will be sailing at 6 00 AM and back at the dock at 1 00 PM to beat any holiday shore traffic!!
05 23 15 Lots of wind this morning made for lousy drifting conditions and only a handful of fish early. Tom Hollywood, Jr., Staten Island, NY, had today's 4 pound pool fish.
05 21 15 The NJ fluke season opens FRIDAY (tomorrow) and we know that many of our die-hard fluke regulars are ready!!More gallery fish--BY FAR-- than we have ever had in one year, TWICE AS MANY DOORMATS AS ANY OTHER AREA HEAD OR CHARTER BOAT as well as the two largest fluke ever taken on the EB II.
We will continue to target the striped bass blues every day until the opening of the 2015 fluke season next Friday, May 22!!Nice weather the next few days so come on down.
05 10 15 It was like two different worlds the past few days. We will continue to target striped bass daily until the start of the 2015 fluke season on Friday, May 22!!
We have seen a lot of nice bass along with enough jumbo bluefish since Monday to keep everyone happy! If you are looking for lots of spring action with great weather NOW is the time!
04 25 15 It was a very nice day weatherwise to start our 2015 season with some of our regulars. Once the current changed our bite slowed with wind against tide the rest of the day and the lines running up toward the bow.
The current regulations are the same as last year with 2 fish at 28 or larger. This bag limit is in effect until the governor decides to sign the new 2015 regulations into law.
