1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

07/05/15 We hope that everyone had a very nice and safe Holiday weekend! It has been a busy weekend for us so just a quick report. Yesterday saw good short action with some keepers in the mix in the morning before the change of tide. Once we got the wind against tide we lost the drift and the bite slowed with just a few fish on each drift for the last part of the day. Anne Lavelle, Jersey City, NJ, took the pool. Today we had better fishing with good conditions. We found good action in most areas we tried and better overall fishing for bigger fish. Art Garrett, Red Bank, NJ, took the pool with a very nice 7 pound 6 ounce fish. Wayne Pinder, Green Brook, NJ, had four nice keepers up to 5 pounds 4 ounces. A continuation of the great weekend weather is forecast for this upcoming week so take advantage of it. See you in the morning.
