07/02/15 Nice weather, nice drift and NICE sized fish today. Had to wait a bit for the current this morning but when we got the change of tide the guys were able to pick some very nice fish before the current got too fast in that area. Moved to where we had our fish yesterday and managed a nice mix of quality keepers and shorts on each drift for the rest of the day. Nelson Mendoza, Kinnelon, NJ, had a couple of keepers including the 7 pound 3 ounce pool fish. Dennis Coleman had three keepers including fish of 4 pounds 11 ounces and 6 pounds 9 ounces. Joe Nicholson, Garwood, NJ, had a 5 pound 7 ounce fish for his largest of the day. Joe Stefanelli, Maplewood, NJ, ended up with a couple of keepers up to 5 pounds 2 ounces.
