Had decent fishing this morning with shorts and some keepers in a couple of areas with the outgoing tide. The bite stopped once we finally lost the drift. We took a chance and made a move to an area we have not fished recently and when the current and wind got together we got the drift we wanted and the fish bit very well. We were able to get in a couple of long drifts before it was finally time to come home and ended up with mostly keepers---which was nice to see!! Ralph Nunziata, North Bergen, NJ, was happy with his three keepers which included the 7 pound pool fish. We had guys with four keepers each, three etc. Natural baits and spros all produced this morning while natural baits produced better this afternoon with the faster drift. Weather this weekend looking great so lets have some fun.
