LOTS OF NICE FISH TODAY!! We had to wait about a half hour for the tide to start moving this morning and once it did we had good fishing with some shorts but mostly very nice sized keepers. Stayed in one general area all day and kept adding nice fish to the coolers on each drift until it was time to come home. Spro/ gulp rigs did the best but the bait fishermen took fish home as well. Dennis O' Brien, South Bound Brook, NJ, had an early limit up to 7 pounds 1 ounce and tied for the pool with Jenni Jo, Somerset, NJ, who also had an identical 7 pound 1 ounce fish as part of her limit. Wayne Pinder, Red Bank, NJ, had four keepers up to 6 pounds 3 ounces. Jim Lohse had several keepers with the two largest being 6 pounds 8 ounces and 6 pounds 5 ounces. A bunch of other quality fish also made the trip home on ice today. Weather good again for tomorrow and with the weekend over there should be a lot less small boat traffic to bother us. See you in the morning.
