We were the only 3/4 day boat on Raritan Bay today. The forecast kept many people home which was a shame. Other than some rain from mid- morning onward it was a normal summer day on the water. The group that showed up managed to pick at more shorts than keepers today in a couple of different areas. Greg Barnett, Trenton, NJ, took the pool with a VERY NICE 7 pound 4 ounce fish which was one of his three keepers on the day. Almost everyone ended up taking at least one nice fish home for dinner. This weather will clear out tonight making for a beautiful holiday weekend! We are fishing in the bay so any mention of "rough surf", "large swells" etc. will not affect us in any way this weekend!!
