06/15/14 HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL YOU DADS OUT THERE!! The great weather forecast brought out a bunch of guys and gals with their dads for a great day on the water. We fished the ocean this morning but did not find enough to keep us there. We went back into the bay and fished some of our old haunts. Overall it was a slow day with the nice group of regulars we had onboard. The fish we did catch were mostly all VERY NICE keepers with just a few shorts shorts mixed in. Wayne Pinder, Red Bank, NJ, led the way with three keepers up to 5 pounds 15 ounces. Pete C., Bound Brook, NJ, had a couple of keepers of 6 pounds 3 ounces and 4 pounds 13 ounces. Dennis O'Brien, South Bound Brook, NJ, had the 6 pound 6 ounce pool fish on the last drift of the day. The guys using the gulps and spros had the bulk of the keepers today. Weather sounds great all this coming week!! See you in the morning.
