06/13/14 The rain and fog and left over east wind that we had first thing this morning was done by 9 AM leaving a beautiful day to be on the water. It was a slow pick for us in the bay with more keepers than shorts where we have fished the past couple of days. The ocean swell was dying down as the day went along and we should have no problem getting back out there tomorrow to where we had our best fishing early in the week. The guys worked hard all day and were able to put some keepers on ice. A few had a couple of keepers each and everyone had at least one fish to take home. Pete Burrows, Hillsdale, NJ, ended up with a couple of keepers including the 5 pound 7 ounce pool fish which was the first fish in the boat this morning.
