Yesterday's easterly blow and a VERY LARGE left over swell put a big hit on the tog bite today. Tried a number of areas from 30-60 feet to find a couple of spots having no bites at all and a couple of other pieces giving up a few fish. Unfortunately, shorts outnumbered the keepers the guys caught today. Art Garrett, Red Bank, NJ, had the big fish and took the last pool of the spring blackfish season.
