1000's of NJ Saltwater Fishing Reports, Dozens of Sources, Maps, Wrecks, Historical Search

Took a ride (A long one), in a new direction this morning.

As we approached the area, I could see birds from a couple miles away and it was a huge area. Got set up on fish busting but they were very tough to catch. The ones we did manage to pull in were shorts, fish from 24-27 inches.

Unfortunately, we were in NY waters and couldn't use the Jersey Bonus tags! Sure wish the States would get their act together cause this is getting old already. Hit several area's with the same results each time.

It's not time to bring EELS guys!   Like I said in the AM to several customers, save your money, they will only catch and draw Sharks to the boat.

In November when the water temps are down and those hungry sharks go away, then it will be time. But what the Hell do I know? The couple guys who insisted on using them, caught Sharks, plenty of them and so did the jiggers.....Go Figure.

No sailing Sunday with the hard SE wind and rain. Thank God, after the past two days, I could use a day on the couch!!  Monday we will kick butt.
