Went on a drift and picked a couple fish each float waiting for the current, nicer fish, just not enough. Capt. Dan will give it hell tonight as he had a late bite last night landing 14 keepers for 8 customers.
Ran back to the west, fished the hard current and had a nice shot of fish to finish out the day, just not enough to make everyone happy. Long time Capt. Dan customer, Scott, had 4 very nice fish for his efforts.
Rolled our cruller off in some horrible conditions hoping the change of tide would make things better. Rob had high hook with 9 fish followed by Vinny Vintastic who had 8 nice fish, landing five of them on his first five cast's!!
Had a report of excellent jig fish way out to the East so we blasted off. Made a couple drifts back where we had some shots of fish and managed a couple very nice fish (including the pool fish) too end the day.
Don't get me wrong, we got spoiled with the non-stop action and limits all around, now we are back to NORMAL BASS fishing where you have to actually fish and work for them!!Jim Toback had 3 nice keepers in the cooler after trying to adjust from his Florida fishing trip.
Good conditions with an incoming tide and light easterly breeze had the bite turned on right from the start today!Doc, Anchor Joe, Eddie, Richie, Eddie and several other Monday regs made their first trip today to be rewarded with a very good bite on fish up to 20 lbs!!
