Checked out a new area once the tide changed to only find some shorts and an odd keeper. Finished out the day in the current with a pick on smaller fish and a couple more keepers.
East wind the past couple of days had the ocean very rolley, any place we fished beyond the hook didn't produce with the exception of some shorts and an odd keeper. Bob had the pool fish at 5 1 2 pounds until the last drift when Paul Mutte landed a very nice 7.
FISHERMEN OPEN BOAT SATURDAY. After changing my Ad's and posting here all week that we were booked, we will now be sailing open boat, fishing for Fluke.
Couple other nice fish in the mix but it was still tough fishing to say the least. I'm not gonna go on about the light rods and heavy weight as I have been through it a thousand times.
Decided after yesterdays good fishing to take the guys out and give it hell. Fished several area's trying to find the bigger fish that wanted to eat without much success.
8. 1 pound pool fish Caught the change of tide just right this morning. . . . Capt. Dan caught Stripers the past two nights with last night being the best so far.
6 3 14 Not a lot of action today as we searched several new areas that I thought would hold some fish. The handful of fish we did keep once again, were respectable including, a 6 pound pool fish caught by Jake first thing in the morning.
Wind was blowing pretty good out of the North, with the incoming tide we had a 2 knot drift to start the day!!!The young lady who caught it had 5 fish for the day out-fishing everyone else in the group.
