He goes forth full of hope and expectation, and when the day is far spent, he returns, telling many stories of the big ones that got away. He has seen hawks and eagles, deer and bear, and many other wonders.
6 10 12 Bounced around all day fishing several area's picking fish on just about every drop. Shrimp-man Steve fishing in the bow landed the first keeper of the day.
First drift, what was left of it we caught a dozen shorts, no keepers. Bite didn't last long but it certainly was much better than our recent bass fishing.
Normally a fish that size (34 pounds) in April keeps customers from even thinking about going in a pool! The fish that are being caught, mostly live-lining, is just about out for us for way too many reasons and an article for winter reading. Caught one fish today on the last drop, after two and a half weeks of this, spending the day in the Hospital yesterday because of blood pressure and stress, it's time to go Fluking.
