Ran to another area, caught a couple more Bass and some blues but it wasn't a good afternoon of fishing. Capt. Dan started his night out last night with a 24 pound Bass, things were looking good until the change of tide!!
Had 2 fish on within 5 minutes, pool was settled and after the past couple days this was a blessing. The man had 2 nice keepers 2 shorts and lost on hell of a fish at the boat when a line got tangled with his.
Headed back towards home, caught a couple keepers and some blues just not good fishing by any means. Good thing all my customers know the deal, many have been with us the past couple weeks when it was hot and still support us through the tough times!!
Tough couple trips the past few days as we have to get past Mother Nature's calling for the Stripers to spawn. Capt. Dan is giving it hell every night with the same results, his last excellent trip was Sunday night when the boat limited out.
Wind was honking against the tide in the AM to make for some Serious, Crap conditions!Caught a few nice keepers to start, then dogfish and skates took over. No room in this world for a freakin thieving, P. O. S. mad Monday, 13 May 2013 17 10 Written by Capt Ron
Went on a drift and picked a couple fish each float waiting for the current, nicer fish, just not enough. Capt. Dan will give it hell tonight as he had a late bite last night landing 14 keepers for 8 customers.
