Busy day yesterday with the Fireworks didn't get to post. .Had a very nice 7. 4 pound pool fish. Fished several area's, some produced better than others with quality Fluke, including the pool fish at 6. 8 pounds!
Seems the outgoing has been the only chance at some action the past couple of days. I've anchored and drifted on readings of bait and fish that should have produced non-stop action, only to be dissapointed by the results.
Wasn't really good enough so we went into search mode looking for a better bite with some bass. Ran way to the West where we had good fishing over the weekend. .No bites, No readings a desert to say the least. At 2 30, I decided to give it one last shot and took another ride to a whole new area.
Good action once again, as we Drifted all day. Bait, Jigs and Top-water plugs works the best. Just a note, if you plan on using Plugs please replace the treble hooks with Singles, the trebles tie up the nets and are pretty dangerous on the boat. Pool fish went to a 15 pound Bass. The PA boys put on a clinic fishing in the bow with non-stop action for their first time out this season. Sorry guys, but like a jack-ass, I deleted the wrong folder of pics for today!!
Seems the Blues have taken over the bay, not that that's a bad thing but it makes it tough to get to the Bass. Capt. Dan found action last night on Bass and Blues, seems things are starting to settle up where he can put his customers on the meat! Night trips sail Monday-Saturday 6 30pm till 11 30pm and Sunday Afternoons 3 30pm till 9 00pm Thanks for checking in, Capt. RonShare Friday, 08 May 2015 16 57 Written by Capt Ron
Yes, Live lining produces bigger fish, the only boats doing that are the one's with 2 to 6 customers, even at that, how many 43 inch fish are being caught Customers had a good time with the action and many fish went home.
