It had to be expected after 3 days of Hell out in the Ocean. We will finish up Fluke fishing on Tuesday then start Porgy fishing on Wednesday this coming week, 7 30am till 2 30pm every day until the Striped Bass show up.
Don Jr. put on a clinic fishing in the stern also with Six nice fish and Sea Bass in the Box. Several other great fish around the boat along with the Big Sea Bass once again with June Sal combining for a nice rack of fish.
Pool Changed hands several times on Fluke from 5 to 7 1 2 pounds throughout the day with Stacy Wellar, PA, taking the money on the next to last drift with a beauty at 7 1 2 Pounds to just eek out Mike Nolan who had one at 7 pounds. Highlights of the day go to Big Tom with 5 keepers up to 5 pounds, Bill V with his 3 and 2 great Sea Bass, Steve fishing in the Bow with 3 beauties and Mike Nolan with 4 great fish today before going back to school tomorrow.
Didn't like the bite we had in the AM, with plenty of short Sea Bass and a Fluke here and there and not much drift, we left the area. Billy Joe fishing in the bow where hot with the jigging today, 3 nice fish each and then some.
The fish we did keep were all quality Fluke with a couple of five pound fish, a couple 6 plus including Alan, Richie and Tom. Jim Annie MClean also had a nice 5 and 3 pound Fluke with their sea bass app for dinner.
