Fishermen Tuesdays fishing report Some nice fish today, especially Ralph's 5 pound pool fish. On another note If you enter the Pool on a Party Boat and the sign on the dock say's FLUKE DO NOT EXPECT that a Silver eel, Striped bass, Bluefish or any other edible fish will win the pool.
Friday night we had Jeff Greene and Monarch Electric out catching plenty of shorts for the action and keeping a bunch of nice fish to go home with. Today's action was good all morning for the Silva's group with several very nice fish coming aboard.
Wednesdays Report Started the morning in the channel with a hard incoming and a NW wind, it wasn't pretty. Not the hot fishing of yesterday with steady action all day but quality fish coming aboard today.
Despite the unbearable heat of the past week, we managed several good fishing trips for our charters. Today's fishing was probably the best action of all the trips so far with plenty of shorts and several fish from 2 to the 8 1 2 pound pool fish!!
Tom and Gerry Krako took care of the stern where Gerry had the pool fish till the last drift. One of my Tuesday regulars, Ishmile, took the pool with his one fish on the last drift, (as the candle was burning out) with a very nice 5 pounder.
Caught the change of tide perfect this morning and rode it out, first drift lasted 3 hours with non-stop action, shorts, keepers, some nice limits and a bunch of Happy Customers for the day. Some nice Sea Bass in the Am also.
