Very good short action then we would see a keeper, make another drift same thing till we started to move. John (your dead to me) had good action also with multiple fish, a nice keeper and a keeper that he tossed back.
Today we had way too much current to start the day and drifting at 2. Fishing the Ocean, the clarity has been awesome these past 2 days as the runoff is finally starting to dissipate, more bait finally starting to show on the bottom, better late than never in my book.
7 pound fish followed by Richie fishing in the Bow with a 4 plus and a new Monthly pool leader fish at 5. Jack, also fishing in the bow took top honors for the day with the daily pool fish going 7 pounds on the money.
Beautiful day on the water with all the right conditions to catch fish. It's July guys, I should be able to catch fish in a dozen different area's right now and all those Hot spots are kicking me in the Butt!
Nice day on the water for an awesome group of guys, Thank you for the Support and Tom, Thank you for that killer sloppy joe sandwich, it brought back memories and put a smile on my face!Capt. RonShare Saturday, 29 June 2019 14 43 Written by Capt Ron
The daily pool changed hands a couple times this morning with John Froelich starting the day off with a nice 4 pound 7 ounce fish followed by Mustache Rich with a 4 pound 10 ounce beauty. The highlight of the day goes to Pat Kostka who landed a great fish at 6 pounds 5 ounces to take the daily pool and the lead in our Monthly which is now at 1500.
