Today was one of those day's were you either caught them or you didn't. From 4 or 5 customers with their three, two, one, like that, to guys who had none. Jigging starting to show improvement the past couple of days. Big John & family took home a nice mess of fillets and some more great memories, especially his daughter with a very nice 6 pound fluke!
Several very nice keeper fluke along with way to many 17 1 2 inch fish going back. Water temp up to 64, Sand eels in the area and were starting to read some bait life on the bottom. Bait was best once again but we did see more action for the first time on the Jigs. I would like to think the buck-tailing should be game on by this week coming!
What are they going to do, lock us all up as criminals, take our boats Imagine the news getting hold of this, the phone video's as we are lead away in cuffs. Any Fisherman interested in a nice night out with your bride, we are now booking the Famous Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks Cruise.
Didn't sail Monday Morning due to the weather but Capt. Dan managed to take out the Monday Night faithful for Striped Bass on the 6 30 pm trip. Several nice fish were caught on fresh bunkers. Weather today (Tuesday) was Crap, once again. We did manage some keeper Fluke. Everyone went home with dinner but it is certainly not easy fishing right now.
