Fluke,Striped Bass |
Slugged away on shorts and keepers with a couple very nice fish in the mix.
Capt. Ron Sr. started the day off with the first fish in the boat and a beauty at 6 pounds! A nice SE breeze came up so we changed locations and had much better fishing the rest of the day.
First drift of the day, June Benson hits a beauty at 5 pounds 13 ounces on the head then lands another 18 inch fish. Several guys had two nice fish each and the short action was very good most of the day.
Had plenty of action on the smaller fish including some of the smallest Fluke I have ever seen for this time of year. Worked it hard all day but the best of the action came at the end of the day when conditions were perfect. Glad we did as a few of the guys who hadn't had a keeper landed two nice fish each to make it an awesome day!
Couple nice fish including Dave Ustaszewskis Five Pound Twelve ounce Pool Fish. Eric the Boys from PA fishing in the bow also got it done with some very nice fish in the cooler.
