The king fish have still been bighting pretty good, just the bait has been real hard this week, we just started to catch able the cigar minnows today and the ballyhoo have moved further up reef edge. This week looks promising, we have pretty good weather conditions, and as long as we get some current it should be a banner week.
Ate a little humble pie however as we went 5 for 11 on wahoo today. The hhos today were extremely aggressive today and they were doing the famous wahoo head shake as well as having a couple short bites.
Over Under - Viewing Report 2009-02-11 - Bahamas Bite Insane Bahamas Bite Insane After the coldest front of the year last week with temps in the upper 40 s , fishing has gotten unbelievable. It didn t take long once I got to my honey whole as we had a nice wahoo bite on our deep rod.
It has been near impossible to get out this week as winds on some days were approaching 50 knots. The wind this week started from the west and stayed either west or northwest for quite a few days.

Things started out very tough at the first of the week, the water temp s were still in high 60 s and the only bait we could catch was Ballyhoo s. So with this in mind we figured for sure things would really spark up before the next front moves through later in the day.
