This has slowed fishing on the edge as we expect our next strong cold front this week which should get the wahoos going again. With the edge being slow we ventured offshore this week fishing off of Hopetown near the bridge.

Over Under - Viewing Report 2011-02-23 - Abacos Fishing Report Abacos Fishing - Treasure Cay, Bahamas The beginning of our Season kicked off with bang this week, with a live-aboard open boat trip. Joe's reported that the first two days, they did a combination of Trolling for Wahoo, Bottom Fishing for Muttons and Yellowtails, and Diving for Lobsters.
Over Under - Viewing Report 2011-02-21 - Bahamas Wahoo Fishing Joe reported fishing in the Bahamas for only a couple hours the other day to shake off the cobwebs before starting our season this week. They caught 4 of 7 wahoo bites in only a short couple hours of fishing.
After a series of days where smaller, 80 to 120 pound fish, dominated the action, today was a different story. Basically we had fish on all day today, releasing 3 over 73 inches, one estimated at close to 400 pounds.
Over Under - Viewing Report 2011-02-17 - Hatteras Bluefin Tuna Fishing Report Hatteras Fishing Report I had the opportunity to get down for a day of Bluefin Fishing with Capt. Darrin and Timmy. We put em back out and after another 30 minutes or so, came tight on our 3rd fish of the day, which Darren brought quickly to boat side.
Over Under - Viewing Report 2011-02-03 - Hatteras Charter Fishing Report Thur feb 3 Ne winds Fifteen to twenty large swell in the ocean, one charterboat fished Mon and caught 2 bluefine 2 yellowfin, for there charter of two people,Not much coverage by the fleet this week,but conditions seem to be staying the same. As always remember a day of fishing is always better than a day of work.
The last couple years, the bite has really not been very good, and when the Bluefin are not around, there is little else to fish for there in the Winter. LOW PROFILE is now based out of Hatteras, where we had an incredible bluefin bite last year in late February and early March.
