In one pass this week, we had a triple header with a 70 pound tuna, a 30 pound dolphin, and a 50 pound wahoo! The red hot action that was going on a week ago, has slowed a bit, but plenty of tuna are coming to the dock with some wahoo and billfish mixed in here and there.
Over Under - Viewing Report 2007-04-08 - Oregon Inlet and Bahamas Fishing Report As the cold front approached towards the end of the week, it seems the fish decided it was time to eat. At the same time, the same cold front over 1000 miles away had the exact same affect on the fishing in San Salvador, Bahamas.
Over Under - Viewing Report 2007-03-25 - North Carolina, Bahamas, Florida Keys Fishing Report Fishing in the Florida Keys was dominated by windy conditions most of the week, making things difficult. The best of the fishing was right on the reef with nice Yellowtail Snapper continuing to be caught.
The Yellowfin Tuna are going 40-50 pounds, and the dolphin have been nice also, going 20-30 pounds mostly. On one recent trip were were able to tease a nice bull in close enough to hook him up on a fly-rod.
The second day, the wahoo were a no-show, but we had some great dolphin action, catching 6 all between 22-28 , along with some blackfin tuna. Islamorada, Florida Keys Early this week, we had good offhsore action, with the PRETTY WORK catching Sailfish, Cobia, and King Mackeral.

Over Under - Viewing Report 2007-01-21 - Florida Keys Fishing Report - January 21, 2007 Finally a break in the weather this week, as sunny skies and light winds prevailed much of the week. Surprisingly enough, along with the improved weather came a significant pickup in the sailfish bite.
We are seeing a few each day, but they are reluctant to eat, and we have been moving onto bottom fishing on most days, where the action is typically quite good. Most of the sails we are seeing are in tight to the reef, showering bait in 40-70' of water.
Over Under - Viewing Report 2006-12-17 - Florida Keys Morehead City Giant Bluefin Report Florida keys fishing has been heating up as of late in sunny Islamorada . Now is a good time to come down the Florida Keys and go fishing with two boats available.
The bite has been very good the last 2 days, with many fish being brought to the dock. While we dont' actually close on the boat until January 1st, we figured time was critical to get the message out and let anyone who is interested in catching a Giant know that we have a boat in the bite .
