First 5 fish in the boat were all nice big keepers from 4 to 7 pounds!!By the end of the third drift it was way too fast so we took a bit of a ride, glad we did as we had another 3 drifts with all quality fish including Rich Mullenbrock's 5 1 2, 3 fish at 6 pounds and Eddies 5 pounder.
Had several drifts catching some very nice keepers once again and a bunch of shorts for the action. Capt. Ron CHARTERED THIS FRIDAY and SUNDAY MORNING, SUNDAY AFTERNOON IS NOT AVAILABLE ALSO this week.
I prayed he didn't lift it out of the water till lou got there with the net, surprisingly, Nick was a lot calmer than me!!Charles landed a very nice 6 pounder along with Art's 5 pound fish and we still managed some very nice keepers for those aboard.
Our best fishing actually was that hour. Capt. Dan has had excellent fishing the past few nights on Croakers, Porgies and the first weakfish of the season!
Had a couple family groups on-board today despite the weather forecast. Mike H. lost two big fish on the buck-tails, with all that current and a hard head shake, the fish won and managed to grow just a little bigger today.
Fishermen Much better fishing today with limits and quality fish!!Slugged away all day on some very nice keepers including Alan Kratavil, Highland Lakes, N. J., 6 1 2 pound pool fish along with his limit.
